DESCRIPTION

Perfumer: Karine Vinchon-Spehner

Peppery grapefruit over cocoa, Turkish rose, and lavender, sinking into tonka, patchouli, and guaiac wood, warm, bold, and wonderfully cozy.

Wonderful Tonka takes the Amazonian bean and treats it like a precious material rather than a dessert. A crisp opening of grapefruit and black pepper, with a mineral edge, keeps the start dry and bright. Then the heart arrives: dark cocoa pod, Turkish rose, lavender, and amber, an unexpected quartet that reads rich, aromatic, and a little smoky. Tonka bean leads the base with patchouli, vanilla, guaiac wood, and vetiver, for a drydown that is deep, woody, and softly sweet. Karine Vinchon-Spehner composed this Attar al Has extrait de parfum to last from the first cool evening of fall right through winter, with a warm, enveloping trail. Perfect for date nights, dinners, and coat-weather days.

Attar al Has

Some houses make perfume. This one makes memory.

Born in Istanbul, where the Bosphorus splits two continents and the air still carries traces of an empire, Attar al Has is a house that refuses to choose: between East and West, between ancient craft and modern vision, between the rawness of an attar and the precision of European perfumery.

Every creation is a negotiation. Precious oud drawn from centuries-old tradition meets a compositional eye sharpened in the West. The result is something rarer than niche: it is singular. Rooted, yet restless. Opulent without excess. Unmistakably Anatolian, yet worn by those who answer to no single culture.
