Notes & Scents is a boutique dedicated to niche and artistic perfumery. We select each creation for its quality, its identity and its olfactory construction, with an approach centered on discovering and understanding fragrance.
We see fragrance as a language. Beyond emotion, it is the result of craftsmanship, a careful selection of raw materials and a creative intention. Our mission is to help everyone better understand what they wear, through an approach that is both sensory and educational.
We go beyond simply selling fragrance:
- discovery sizes (2ml and 10ml),
- complimentary samples with every full-size bottle, while stocks last,
- detailed notes and olfactory profiles for every fragrance,
- educational content to guide your discovery.
Payment
Notes & Scents accepts all major secure payment methods, including credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and more) as well as the payment options offered directly by Shopify.
Yes. Every payment made on Notes & Scents is fully secure. Transactions are processed through Shopify Payments, which protects your card and personal information.
As soon as your payment goes through, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing your order. If it does not arrive, please check your spam folder or contact our customer care team.
Shipping
Every order is carefully prepared and shipped from our New York warehouse as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary with your location and the carrier. An estimate is shown under each product (for guidance only).
We currently ship within the United States only, from New York. Shipping is complimentary on orders over $100, and shipping costs are calculated automatically and shown before you confirm your order. You can also visit our Shipping & Delivery page.
As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipping email with a tracking number so you can follow your parcel in real time. You can also track your order on our dedicated page.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us promptly through our Contact page. We will make it right.

Yes, with every full-size bottle. Each order that includes a full-size bottle ships with complimentary 2 ml samples, selected by our team from the fragrances in stock, while stocks last. It is a simple way to discover another composition from our collection.
Extrait de parfum is the most concentrated form of fragrance. It contains a higher proportion of perfume oils than an eau de parfum, which gives it a richer texture, a closer and more intimate trail, and a longer hold on the skin.
Fragrance care
It depends on the composition and on your skin. Fresh, citrus notes fade first, while woods, resins, musks and amber last the longest. Apply on pulse points and on well moisturized skin for the best hold.
Keep your bottles away from light, heat and humidity, ideally in their box and at a stable room temperature. A bathroom is not the best place: a closet or a dresser drawer will keep your fragrance at its best for years.
