1. Who we are

notes-scents.com is operated by LAMANDIER LLC, a New York limited liability company, under the trade name Notes & Scents. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and have a delivery address in the 48 contiguous United States or Washington, D.C.

3. Our products

We sell fragrances and skincare products from independent houses. Notes & Scents is an independent retailer. Brand names and logos belong to their owners.

We describe our products, photos and prices in good faith. Packaging, color and scent may vary slightly from one batch to another.

Skincare products are cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Read the full ingredient list before use, and test a small area of skin first if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required. Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments and the other methods shown at checkout.

5. Orders

Your order is accepted once you receive our confirmation email. We may limit quantities, or refuse or cancel an order, in particular when:

  • a price or description error appears on the site,
  • an order or account shows signs of fraud,
  • the delivery address is outside the area we serve,
  • the order appears intended for resale.

If we cancel an order, we refund the full amount paid.

6. Promotions and samples

Discount codes, including sample credits, are personal, single use and valid until their stated expiry date. They cannot be exchanged for cash or combined unless stated. Complimentary samples are offered while stocks last.

7. Shipping

Shipping zones, options, costs and delivery times are set out in our Shipping policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier. This does not limit the damaged and lost parcel process in our Returns and claims policy.

8. Returns and claims

Opened fragrances and opened skincare products cannot be returned. Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Damaged, wrong or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, and damaged items must be returned to us before any replacement or refund. 9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell our products without our written consent,
  • submit false claims or misleading information,
  • use the site for any unlawful purpose,
  • try to access our systems without authorization.
10. Intellectual property

The texts, photos, logo and design of this site belong to LAMANDIER LLC or are used with permission. You may not reproduce them without our written consent.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAMANDIER LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the site or our products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your state.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be brought before the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

13. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your order.
