Perfumer: Karine Vinchon-Spehner

Crisp apple and saffron over a spiced Turkish rose, drying down to oud, opoponax, and vanilla, a rose with attitude.

Anatolian Rose starts with a surprise: the juicy snap of a red apple, sharpened by black pepper, chili berries, and saffron. That spiced-fruit brightness leads into the heart, where a full-bodied rose blooms alongside orange blossom, honeyed broom, and a warm amber accord. The base turns deeper and drier, with cedarwood, patchouli, resinous opoponax, a shadow of oud, and soft vanilla and musk. Karine Vinchon-Spehner composed this Attar al Has extrait de parfum to last from day into evening with a confident, spicy-floral trail. It works in every season but is especially striking in spring and fall, for dates, celebrations, and anyone who loves rose but wants it with fire and spice rather than sugar.

Attar al Has

Some houses make perfume. This one makes memory.

Born in Istanbul, where the Bosphorus splits two continents and the air still carries traces of an empire, Attar al Has is a house that refuses to choose: between East and West, between ancient craft and modern vision, between the rawness of an attar and the precision of European perfumery.

Every creation is a negotiation. Precious oud drawn from centuries-old tradition meets a compositional eye sharpened in the West. The result is something rarer than niche: it is singular. Rooted, yet restless. Opulent without excess. Unmistakably Anatolian, yet worn by those who answer to no single culture.
